- CHILDRENS FIRST AID WORKSHOP -

A 3hr First aid session for parents, teachers, carers and anyone who is interested:

This is our premier and most popular course, it could be the most valuable 3 hours you ever spend!

This first aid course is focused on the 10 most common emergencies as identified by ambulance paramedics and emergency room doctors:

1. Choking.
2. Burns.
3. Head/spinal injury.
4. Bites/stings and poisoning.
5. Drowning/near drowning.
6. Fits and seizures.
7. Asthma/croup.
8. Cuts, bleeding and fractures.
9. Allergic reactions and anaphylaxis.
10. Unconscious and CPR.

During this relaxed and informal 3hr first aid course you will gain knowledge and skills to apply basic, simple life saving first aid treatment to a child in an emergency situation, prior to the arrival of an ambulance. This course includes a priceless emergency guidance brochure for use at home.

- BASIC RESUSCITATION – CPR -

A 1hr CPR workshop that will give you the skills and confidence to use this life saving technique. This is an invaluable skill to have, and we would recommend that everyone know CPR.

There are two courses offered, CPR for parents and carers, and CPR for Yr 5 and 6 students.

- HOUSE SAFE WORKSHOP/HOME VISIT -

A 1hr House Safe workshop aimed at accident prevention in your home, it will enable you to identify and rectify unsafe practises and possible accident zones within your home.

A House Safe Visit to your home can also be arranged. We come to your home and with you we will identify and correct all areas that can improve accident prevention, home safe visits normally take around 1 hour, and are a priceless tool in accident prevention within your home.
