“We are a young couple with 3 beautiful young girls, and another one on the way! We did a Children’s First Aid workshop run by Family First Aid. I have to say, its one of the most worthwhile things we have ever done. Our little girl, Soph, had a fall getting out of the car one day, badly cutting her head, although the outcome after her hospital stay was good, I wish to this day that I had known what to do at the time it happened! I thought I knew what actions to take, but really I was hopeless! The workshop makes everything seem so simple and easy, and after doing it, I know that I will be able to handle such an emergency so much better, and really be there for my kids when they need it! It is honestly 3 hours so well spent.”

“I am a paramedic with the ambulance service, and on hearing of the First Aid, CPR and home safe courses run by Family First Aid, I decided to investigate further. In my work, I see situations everyday that warrant such courses. I have lost count of the number of times I have arrived at a house, or to a park to treat an injured or sick child, only to find that either no help or the wrong help had been given. Simple actions taken at the scene before we arrive can improve the outcome for a child no end. I would love to see every parent, every teacher, every carer take one of these courses, in fact I would beg every parent to participate in one of these courses.”
